we've been looking at pretty pretty sunsets
hanging out in westwood village for third thursdays...on the second thursday of the month? we're still confused about it. but the thing that didn't confuse us was the decision to wait in the 3 hour line for BOGO chipotle or go to the average priced sushi restaurant next door with no wait.
good news from yesterday: i left my hair down and straight and actually liked it!
aaand just hanging out enjoying the sights from california.
oh and the picture of tanner taking a picture seriously is noteworthy. he fiiiinally got to upgrade his phone and has hardly set it down since i surprised him with it last week.
things not pictured but worth noting:
FHE with the cunninghams and churchs on monday night. great games of sequence and my pumpkin bread with an apple cider drink treats were a hit. want to know what else was a hit? riding the vespa to their apt in november! i'm just glad i don't have to drive it everyday and so is tanner. he is still obsessed with driving it to school.
tuesday's mutual food drive activity. maybe i snuck a peek while the YW president was announcing the winner (it was a scavenger hunt) and misread my sneak peek and thought we won and yelled out for joy...just to find out moments later i was wrong. sorry team. worst leader ever? then we watched new girl and i laughed so hard.
wednesday night was our relief society activity and i hung out at a table with some real nice friends gossiping about who might be pregnant. we talked about other things like the discussion from book club and why people think growing up in utah is lame. i liked growing up in utah and am moving back there. so sue me. we also got to listen to courtney and sarah's musical number including sarah on the harmonica! i am just so proud of that gal.
then last night as you saw brought third thursdays in westwood. it was a fun idea to go out for a cheap meal since we haven't grocery shopped in forever (i'm baaaack!) but then we always forget about traffic in LA when we aren't on the scooter. i wasn't kidding about the 3 hour line to get BOGO chipotle. turns out provo students aren't the only ones that love a good deal!

11:11 on 11/11/11. i feel like we should have a real cool activity today but maybe we'll just talk about how cool it is. that will be funs.
study breaks with the tan - that guy. turns out everyone was serious about the 1st year of law school being stress fest, usa.
and hanging with friends doing nice activities over the weekend.

yes, please tell my why so many people in california don't like utah and/or think they're better because they grew up in california vs utah. i get so mad.
it is really surprising how many people get all crazy on Utah. I find it pretty ridiculous myself. "So sue me" ha ha!
i was reminded during this post how you told me when i got home from my mission that jean jackets were out and made me give mine away. then a few months later told me they were in again and ended with a "sorrrrrrry" hahahah
anyway. that sunday drive picture looked so scary/magical! and i'm glad you didn't hate your hair strait and down, i feel like that is a big deal. and just making so many friends. you are really doing it!
