we got into LA around 7:30 last night. i promptly jumped into the shower in hopes to steam out the nasty cold i caught the tail end of our trip so we could attend a NYE party tanner's law school friend got us VIP tickets to. didn't work.
so instead of partying, we jumped into bed, ordered pizza from our favorite cicceros and watched a whole lot of modern family until i fell asleep at 10. luckily i have nicest tanner frei guy to take care of me as i rang the new year in with a bang. really, he brought in every piece of luggage, present, etc from our dirtiest road tripping car, brought every cold medicine into me, set up the humidifier, fed me pizza, gave me a blessing and continued to tell me it was the best new year's eve of his life. all while he pretended like he wasn't battling a cold as well.
in short - my obsession with tanner frei has deepened and i had the sweetest new year's eve yet.
just thought i'd let everyone know we're alive and (semi)well. hope your new year's eve was the nicest!

i caught a cold too on our way home from okc! not fun! especially because the change in elevation really did a number to my very congested head. luckily the cold was short lived and is pretty much gone by now.
