well, i'd like to declare that since my 20 week post, i have officially started feeling more and more pregnant. here are some things that have been happening in the last 4 weeks:
- i'm still carrying the baby really low which makes getting up and down a lot or bending over for a long time really sad for my back. however, somedays he is a few inches up from where he normally is and, without fail, those are the days that people tell me i am looking really pregnant.
- we started being able to see him squirming, kicking and moving around in my stomach last week and our new favorite game is watching my stomach move all around though it's still fun to play the sit and feel little baby kick inside brynne's stomach game
- i'm starting to really lose my balance aaand even fell down the stairs the other week. that's not my only example of losing my balance but i feel like it's the most interesting.
- my prenatal yoga class saves my life/body every week. this was proven last week when i had to skip it because of work and i couldn't even roll over in the middle of the night because my back was so tight.
- i had my first pregnancy dream the other night that i wanted to hold the baby so bad so i just took him out of my stomach. i was soo happy holding him until i realized it was way too early to have him and got so stressed when i realized i didn't know how to get him back in my body! haaaha it was the weirdest/saddest/happiest dream and i think shows my excitement to meet this little fella.
- braxton hicks contractions started happening last week and boy howdy are they a treat. i tried walking while i had one and i am positive i looked like i was already 9 months pregnant.
- running is still possible as long as we take it easy. i should call it a walk/run really because we definitely have our walking times - especially when my round ligaments start acting up. then the running stops and we just walk the rest of the way. it is my favorite though and i'm happy we still get to run together.
- ice cream and cheese makes my stomach hurt after i eat either one lately. i really hope it's just a pregnancy thing and not a lifetime thing because i love them both so much that i don't want to stop eating them!

- as mentioned before, this little baby is a mover, kicker and squirmer and it is so fun to feel him all day every day. it's like i have a little friend to keep me company all the time to make sure i'm not bored and i love it.
- i've yet to get a really crazy pregnancy craving. all i wanted to eat my first trimester was mexican rice and beans or spaghetti (oh and corn dogs at the end...) but i think that was more because everything else had too strong of a scent or flavor. i've been fine with everything this trimester so we'll see if that lasts in the third trimester!
i've loved the second trimester and am gearing up for the third.
love you, sweet baby frei!
