saturday night brought quite a scare when i received a call from annie informing us that mandi and bryce had been in a car accident. they hit on mandi's side and she started contracting and they had to go to the hospital to try to stop the contractions.
i felt so far away from home and so helpless. it was a terrible feeling. luckily they were able to stop the contractions around midnight and they were able to go home to try and get some rest before bryce left the next morning. in the meantime, tan and i decided we better knit knit knit away so i can make sure my little blanket is finished in time for little baby's arrival! we hung out on the couch for a few hours watching alias and just relaxed after a relatively restless night out of camping. it was perfect.
i knitted while tan masterfully turned my skein of yarn into a yarn ball. he really does it quite well. how is he so good at everything?
