last week we:

1. babysat the wilson babies on monday night. i can't get enough of those little red heads or this scene. they love tan and were really great during story time.

2. took a picture in the hallway mirror on the way out of the wilsons' apt because it was really "creepy". which is what i'm in the middle of saying in this rather odd picture.

3. hung out with maddi, lincoln and liisa wed - saturday and had lots of really nice times eating out and exploring LA together. this was taken thursday night after eating at chipotle and strolling along third street promenade. we even found our favorite street performer from last may! liisa recognized him as he was about to start playing. i'm totally impressed.

4. r-e-l-a-x-e-d saturday after a week full of really nice visitors. we napped, nicest tan did laundry, went for a longer run, made dinner and even went out for ice cream! we are continuing our search for the best ice cream in LA and wanted to get back over to sweet rose creamery to give it another shot after going in the fall. we originally left the house because tanner got a text from one of his law school friends asking (in the most polite way ever) for a ride to the emergency room. "could you drive me to the emergency room? don't worry about it if you're on a date or something". even though we jumped in the car right away and started driving to pick him up, he had already found another ride so we just decided to keep driving and head to sweet rose.

5. died over brentwood once again. it is a different world from west LA. we smelled blossoms for an entire mile before even getting out of the car at brentwood market. it's such a nice neighborhood and we loved breathing some fresh air after constantly breathing in all the exhaust fumes from the 405. 

6. both fell in love with sweet rose's horchata ice cream and i fell in love with their ginger wafer flavor. tanner liked it when it was mixed with chocolate but not by itself. their chocolate was all right but doesn't beat salt and straw's.

7. fiiiinally went and dropped off courtney cunningham's group baby shower gift from NOVEMBER. i'm terrible. but i did get to make a really quick card for baby yoni. we had a nice sunday walk over to their apt and loved hanging with our old friends for a bit. they moved out of our ward after moving into student housing in november and we've missed them! they're great friends and always a pleasure to catch up with.
