i don't know who had a more relaxing spring break, me or tan.
we had lots of time watching the west wing and tan was so nice to rub my feet and calves during our viewings! those foot rubs do wonders for this pregnant gal's soul (and let's be honest, my soul in general because he's just so nice to always give me them)
we had a lunch date to try out noah's bagel shop in hopes that it could compete with bunk's bagel sandwiches in portland and the answer is NO! they were sick sick sick. tan's face shows our dissatisfaction and we hadn't even tried the sandwiches yet. haa
left: tan enjoyed longer surf sessions by dropping me off at work and taking the car out to the ideal surf spots and i enjoyed carpooling to work again like our newlywed days.
right: this little dreamboat surprised me with dinner tuesday night and even looked up the recipe on my pinterest board! the dinner was a big success and i will never forget the day tanner turned to pinterest for a recipe.
as soon as i heard mj was in labor (despite bryce's attempt to fool me that she had the baby ten hours earlier than she really did), i went to work on crafting a special gift bag to deliver baby jack's special blanket in. it made me feel a little closer to home and made me happy to think of that sweet baby coming so soon!
and just so you know - i think he really likes it. (thanks for the pic, mj!)
aaand last but most certainly not least, we finished our easter sunday with a game of phase 10 and i had one of the proudest game moments of my life. we're talking 3 rounds of being able to lay down right off the bat AND discarding every card on my first turn. any time i can beat tan in a game is a proud moment so this was a big deal. tan thinks we should play chess next game night and to that i say, no thank you.
