as i've said before, the cabin up at panguitch lake doesn't get any service so when we were driving home on sunday and got service in the city of panguitch for a minute, i was shocked to find out my sister emily had had her baby! she was due in august so this came as a total shock. she delivered him quickly (got to the hospital at 3 am and delivered him by 3:20!) but unfortunately the baby was born with trouble breathing. he's been in the NICU and will be there at least until next wednesday.
tanner and i were able to stop by the hospital for a quick visit monday night and were so happy we could be here for it! i loved being able to chat with my sister and meet my sweet new baby nephew. he and morris have almost the exact same birth weight and size (morris was 6 lbs 7 oz, 18 in while thomas was 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 1/2 in!) and my heart melted when we saw him in his little incubator.
we pray for you every day, little buddy, and can't wait to get you home! love you, decker fam! xoxo
