and then this last week we:

1) babysat tanner's cousin val over saturday night. she had a cold so we didn't want to get the other kids sick in nursery and took her over to the temple after sacrament meeting. it was a beautiful day and the temple grounds were even prettier. we loved showing val around and hearing her call the temple "the building of the pretty"

 2) tanner was the sweetest and was the best buddy to val all weekend. just like last time we watched her, we still don't have any toys for her to play with when she comes so we have to get inventive. tanner always wins with ideas in that category.

3) eat smoothies every single morning. and love it every single time - especially love drinking from our angels souvenir cups from craig p. 

 4) had a night out in the city with tyler and clare when they came up and slept over on friday night. we started at apple pan after getting rave reviews from harry and sarah reynolds about their hickory burgers and apple pie. let us say - it 100% lived up to the hype and we are so sad we didn't try this earlier.

5) next we went to the griffith and had a delightful time. i also found out not all of tanner's shirts are the best pregnant shirts - some make you look huge. but we had lots of fun at the griffith and found out they even have exhibits in the basement!! how have we missed those the other three times we've been? 

in outer space.

finding out how much they weigh on the moon. i refused to step on that scale even though it doesn't tell you anything really. turns out, scales are even lower on my like list than they were before pregnancy.

6) coworkers taking care of me and making sure that i eat. blueberry muffin from denny and fruit and toast from kami.

7) spring break kickoff picnic with tan on friday. it's been foggy foggy foggy town here lately and the sun finally came out and we were able to enjoy it together at our favorite bocce ball park! i only had 30 minutes for lunch this day so it was a nice break but unfortunately we didn't get to fulfill our dreams of playing bocce during this break.

8) another successful bread making night last night. always worth documenting.
