lauren and kyle got married on tuesday! this past year has been the year of weddings for my friends with brooke, dantzel, natalie now lauren and next up is jelistika! it's been so fun attending the events of my dear friends and seeing them so happy. i love being reminded of our wedding day as well and am just so happy that my friends are finding their happiness. wedding days really are the best! lauren looked like a dream and she and kyle were just in their own little love land all day.

i was so happy tan could come to the ceremony since his office is directly across the street from the temple. sweet brookie watched morris while we were at the ceremony and while it was stressful being away from him for the first time, it was so great to be a part of their special day with my favorite guy.

 after taking a long summer's nap on saturday afternoon while tan worked on law review stuff like crazy, we decided a treat night was in order and headed up to jed and brooke's new neighborhood to try out the shaved ice that's all the rage. the sun was just setting and it was just a magical night. there were teens hanging out all around a land rover in the parking lot which made the entire scene feel a little grease-esque. totally found this summer's hot spot! boom.

 i got a peach mango with cream that was delish and tan got a raspberry mango typhoon (ice cream and cream mixed in with the shaved ice). we'll go back there in a heartbeat. and i will wear my dodgers cap all summer long thanks to my sweet husband for getting it as a "we survived sedona!" present (L) this was my view the other night as we were hanging with our sweet son and i just loved it. his sweet little nose kills me and i love seeing tan with our baby boy (R)

 i die any time morris falls asleep on my hest and those little arm rolls coming in were just too much the other day. i can't get enough of my mini boyfriend (L) obviously...since i just kiss and kiss his cheeks and forgot i was wearing lipstick the other day. whoopsies! (R)

more morrie snuggle time (L) another sweet smile captured on camera. let it be noted that he smiled at me on saturday night! he was wide awake, looking at me and smiled in response to me touching his face. it made me SO happy! i did it again aaand he smiled again in response! it was a big night for us and though it hasn't happened again, i feel like it was an intentional smile. proud momma (R)

hanging with my boyfriend at lauren and kyle's wedding dinner monday night. we had to take a little break from the dinner table and hang in the foyer and all morris wanted to do was tilt away from my body and sway (L) he finally fits into his small fry outfit!! (R)

morris pulled a little angelina jolie the other night in his sleep. usually his arms escape but this time it was his leg and i couldn't stop laughing (L) my two handsomes in their sunday best were killing me all day yesterday. how did i get so lucky? (R)

we spent the morning playing with the winkelman and karren kids while annie was at the doctor. all the kids were just sitting on the porch hanging and mandi snapped this picture. i love the little cousins toooo much.
