last week looked liked das:

1. we got a date night! thanks to a. karren. tanner's firm got us tickets to the tedeschi trucks band concert up at red butte gardens and it was fun even though we had no idea who the band was. we both really loved the opener that had a nice folksy voice and the main band was good enough but we were ready to leave. things got interesting when it started raining but luckily we're in utah so it was just a nice summer rain during a concert full of great people watching. i loved having a night out with tan and was so grateful for annie's help that night.

2. morris has a pretty sensitive stomach and a mean mom who can't handle only eating bland foods so we have to give him mylanta a couple times a day to help his little belly. it's one of his least favorite times of day but he usually will swallow most of the medicine but some inevitably is spit out or something which leaves him with a mouth looking like it does on the right.

3. this was actually taken while tan was in sedona but i just saw it in my phone and realized i never posted it! morris and i had some nice hang time at berk's house with the freis. those frei boys sure make great uncles!

4. i don't know who is more excited about dog sitting - me or lizie. she can't come over and play in the backyard without getting maja on the leash and walking her around.

6. morris is growing so fast and it makes me so sad but then i see pictures like the one on the left and realize he's still preeetty teeny tiny.

9. totally blurry but so real. morris fell asleep with his arm stretched out like that for so long the other day and tanner and i couldn't get enough of it. (R)

10. my visiting teachers brought over cookies and it included everything tanner loves. chocolate. waffles. and brownies. i think he died and went to heaven. (L)

12. morris almost always starts smiling immediately after he falls asleep. it makes my heart so happy.

16. HE SMILES!!! and it is seriously the best thing everrr. i love his little smiles because he can't even control his face really and they are just the biggest, happiest smiles you'll ever see.

19. i had to take morris to get an ultrasound at primary's on his one month birthday to check his hips since he was breech up until 35 weeks. seeing him on that little table made me so stressed but i'm so grateful he's healthy! the doctor said his hips look great and we'll just have to go back in six months for one final check. he did great with the ultrasound and just grunted his way through with no cries and both of the nurses fell in love with him. 

20. snuggles after the ultrasound while waiting for the doctor to come in and tell us the results. i picked him up off the table and he immediately cuddled up and fell fast asleep which left me with a melted heart.

21. max being the ultimate dude on a friday night. drinking his drink and eating his pizza. he is the cutest.

 26. sno-cone fest continues. we've gotten one a week and i could easily go for more but should not. i tried veering away from my favorite peach mango flavor this night and went with a coconut, pineapple peach flavor...wasn't a fan but luckily tan got my favorite and he ended up liking my experiment so we traded. that's just one reason why we love tan. he'll always switch and give me the food item i like best if i'm not pleased with my choice. what a dream boat.

29. so does this hunk! friday was tan's only casual dress day at the office and was pretty laid back since it was the day after the fourth. unfortunately he had to go in because of a deadline but luckily he's the sweetest and invited us down for a little lunch date at city creek and even more luckily, morris did great and we actually got to go this time! we ate a yummy lunch at blue lemon, exchanged my perfume certificate and finally picked up my new scent (thanks to his brilliant christmas gift of a perfume sampler that gave me 10 samples and a certificate to exchange for my favorite), and shopped at h&m for a couple new shirts! it was so fun hanging downtown with our favorite and nicest guy for the afternoon. we're excited to do it more in the future! 

30. aaand last but not least, this beautiful pic taken by tan yesterday morning at 5:30 am at the office thanks to the aforementioned deadline. that boy is one hard worker! we're so happy he is loving his summer internship though and grateful for the experience.
